The Prada Fall/Winter 2011/2012 ad campaign features Frida Gustavsson, Kelly Mittendorf, Ondria Hardin, Antonia Wesseloh, Julia Zimmer, Dorte Limkilde, shot by Steven Meisel. If the actual collection looked difficult to follow on the runway with so many various elements being introduced, the Prada Fall/Winter 2011/2012 ad campaign certainly brought out the gist and air of the collection.
Prints that gave colour-blocking a new twist; drop-waisted belts on coat dresses and jackets; the use of plastic paillettes instead of metal paillettes or sequins; dome-shaped python coats with fur; put that on a simple 20′s flapper-inspired silhouette, together with Mary Janes with thick buckles, stunning eyewear like that of ski googles and an array of clutches, and you have one gorgeous collection. Gorgeous. Gorgeous. Gorgeous.
With the Prada Fall/Winter 2011/2012 ad campaign, colour-blocking with added prints and snakeskin are set to be all the rage this fall. Don’t hesitate, go!
