The Harper’s Bazaar US May 2012 issue features Balenciaga creative director Nicolas Ghesquiére and French actress-singer Charlotte Gainsbourg –who is the half-sister of Lou Doillon and daughter of Jane Birkin– in a tongue-in-cheek editorial shot by Jean-Paul Goude. The main highlight of this editorial is of course the now infamous Balenciaga Spring/Summer 2012 visor hats or ‘Darth Vader’ hats if you will; hence the Star Wars parody. I absolutely love it!
