The 2012 CFDA Fashion Awards –also known as fashion’s version of the Oscars– have finally concluded and here are the full list of winners and honourees (winners’ and honourees’ names in bold).

Surprisingly –or not– first-time Womenswear Designer of the Year nominees Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen of The Row edged out the Proenza Schouler boys and Marc Jacobs. This proves that celebrity or not, if you have what it takes, you can make the cut. Yay for Kanye West and co.

Although less spectacular –in my opinion– than the Met Gala red carpet (fashion’s red carpet equivalent of the Oscars), the 2012 CFDA Fashion Awards red carpet had some standouts. Check out what caught my eye below.
