L’Invitation Au Voyage | Louis Vuitton’s First Ever Ad Campaign Video

Louis Vuitton presents L’Invitation Au Voyage, Louis Vuitton’s first ever ad campaign video, starring Arizona Muse and directed by photographer duo Inez and Vinoodh who also shot the print campaign. You would have thought that the world’s most valuable luxury brand would have gotten on the bandwagon eons ago.

Although it is not technically Louis Vuitton’s first film, it is the first ever ad campaign video to accompany the print ad campaign. This one chronicles Arizona Muse through iconic sights of Paris and up on a hot air balloon –no less.

Yves Saint Laurent Fall/Winter 2011/2012 Ad Campaign | Raquel Zimmermann

Raquel Zimmermann replaces Arizona Muse as the face of YSL, fronting the Yves Saint Laurent Fall/Winter 2011/2012 ad campaign. Shot by Inez and Vinoodh, Raquel Zimmermann is pictured against a floor to ceiling window overlooking city buildings, showcasing monochrome pieces by Stefano Pilati’s YSL. The highlight of this ad campaign has to be the Yves Saint Laurent Fall/Winter 2011/2012 ad campaign video. Shot also by Inez and Vinoodh, the video uses stop-motion animation to feature 14 looks in 53 seconds to the soundtrack of LCD Soundsystem’s I Can Change. Arizona Muse and Freja Beha Erichsen star in an Old Master-inspired fashion editorial titled Master Class showcasing Fall 2011′s latest for Vogue UK September 2011. Photographed by Mario Testino and styled by Lucinda Chambers, Arizona Muse and Freja Beha Erichsen pair up on the streets of Antwerp in black and white outfits from the likes of Louis Vuitton, Lanvin, Valentino, Alexander McQueen, Marc Jacobs and Givenchy among others. Freja Beha Erichsen is also the cover girl for Vogue UK September 2011.

This is not the first time Arizona Muse and Freja Beha Erichsen are pairing up together, in fact they have done so on numerous occasions and I can’t think of any other duo that could top this pair.
