The Stella McCartney Fall/Winter 2011/2012 ad campaign features Natalia Vodianova, shot by none other than photographers of the moment, Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott in a private Oxfordshire home. Black and white imagery was juxtaposed against the greenery of a topiary garden. Nothing spectacular here but it’s still lovely nonetheless.
With the preview of the Stella McCartney Fall/Winter 2011/2012 ad campaign, Stella McCartney also launches an enhanced e-commerce site and a second edition of her iPad app. 28 European countries have been added to the e-commerce site which launched only last year and will be equipped with a ‘reserve in store’ function that allows customers to reserve an item online and collect it in a store of their own choosing. Customers can also book a private in-store shopping service on the site.
The second edition of the Stella McCartney iPad app features a selection of images, selected by Stella McCartney herself, from the ‘Linda McCartney, A Life in Photographs’ show in London and the accompanying book. Other features include a look at the making of the Team GB Olympics-inspired sportswear ad campaign of which Stella McCartney designed, backstage footage of Stella McCartney’s Fall 2011 runway show n Paris, a preview of the Stella McCartney Resort 2012 collection and a video of the dresses that Stella McCartney created for the Met Gala in May.
