Carine Roitfeld will be working with V Magazine for a whooping 72-page fashion editorial spread for the September 2011 issue of V Magazine. Shot by Mario Testino, the heroes-themed V Magazine September 2011 issue will be centred around Elizabeth Taylor. If there is one magazine to add to your list of September issues you will be getting come Fall, this is it.
Anja Rubik -one of my favourite models ever- ties the knot with Sasha Knezevic, also a model of Serbian descent. The wedding was held at a church in Mallorca, Spain. Anja Rubik and Sasha Knezevic got engaged last December in Vienna where they spent Christmas together. Love her to bits.
Anja Rubik wore a mullet wedding dress designed by Peter Dundas for Emilio Pucci. While she has been drawing flak for wearing that dress and those satin pumps, I couldn’t care less. It’s her wedding day! And I’m just looking past her sartorial choices. I could even comment on her hairstyle and makeup –
or lack thereof– but let’s give her a break shall we.
How about you comment on the next photo: Anja Rubik and Sasha Knezevic on the cover of the most recent edition of Viva Magazine Poland.

Dolce&Gabbana Lace Collection 2011 from Dolce&Gabbana on Vimeo.
The new Dolce & Gabbana Eyewear collection which we can expect in the months to come is dedicated to what Domenico Dolce & Stefano Gabbana do best – Sicilian lace. Aptly called Dolce & Gabbana Lace Collection 2011, the entire collection features real lace encased inside eyewear frames as seen from the video. What an ingenious idea!
I suppose Dolce & Gabbana has done everything they can possibly do with lace, from footwear and bags, including a Sicilian lace inspired makeup collection for Fall 2010. The Dolce & Gabbana Lace Collection 2011 must be a long time coming and I’m glad they have come full circle.
