Harper’s Bazaar US September 2011 forecasts a series of colours and garment shapes that will be hot this Fall starring Maryna Linchuk. Shot by Paola Kudacki in a plain background to allow the various mid-tone colours to stand out, Maryna Lindchuk strikes a great variety of poses for this Harper’s Bazaar US September 2011 editorial titled Color Story. Really love this simple story and the flare and movement of the clothes and as you all know, when it comes to colours, anything goes regardless of the season. Suzy Menkes, fashion editor from the International Herald Tribune also writes an accompanying article, with her take on the current trends for this Fall. Maryna Linchuk wears a Gucci dress, a Chloé cuff and Tom Ford sandals in the first photo above. Check out the rest of the Maryna Linchuk for Harper’s Bazaar US September 2011 editorial below.

Gwyneth Paltrow was tapped to be the brand ambassador and face of Coach
Spring and Fall ad campaigns in April this year. Shot by Peter Lindbergh, the Coach ad campaign is essentially very classic American, with Gwyneth Paltrow looking like your typical all-American girl -or blah if you will. The Coach ad campaign will not be released in the U.S. but will feature in various international editions of Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar among others. The starring of Gwyneth Paltrow for the Coach ad campaign is also meant to coincide with the brand’s 70th anniversary and the opening of its flagship store in London along Bond Street.
“Gwyneth embodies American style and spirit around the globe. Coach is celebrating its 70th anniversary as an iconic American brand, so we couldn’t ask for a better international ambassador than Gwyneth. ” -Jason Weisenfeld, senior vice president, global brand communications and collaborations.
Love it or hate it, Americans for the win.

Emma Watson graces yet another cover in the build-up to the premiere of the last installment of the Harry Potter franchise. This time Emma Watson fronts two covers for Harper’s Bazaar August 2011 in a theme that is overdone and oh so cliché -naughty versus nice girl/bad versus good girl/evil versus demure girl, whichever you prefer.
Shot by Alexi Lubomirski, Emma Watson models the latest Autumn/Winter 2011 collections including a white Yves Saint Laurent dress on the good girl cover and a black Emilio Pucci dress on the bad girl cover. She’s wearing a black bowl cut wig in the ‘bad-girl’ photos which is totally bugging me. They should have just done all good girl shots but it is still a tad stale to me. The editorial also comes with an accompanying interview where she talks about school, fashion, growing up and acting. What do you think, yes or no?
This is not the first time Emma Watson is featured in the pages of Harper’s Bazaar. Her first outing came in the Harper’s Bazaar October 2008 issue where U.K.’s top designers were featured in an editorial spread shot by Simon Procter. The creative direction was in reference to the Harry Potter films and the editorial aptly titled -The Magic Of Fashion. It was just pretty frocks set against a vivid background; she didn’t have to do much. I like this one a lot. Do you?
