The Vogue US June 2012 issue puts the spotlight on America’s top male Olympians with Summer upon those in the Northern hemisphere and with the London 2012 Olympic Games exactly 72 days away. Karlie Kloss joins Jonathan Horton, Ashton Eaton, Ryan Lochte (who is also now the fourth man after Richard Gere, George Clooney and LeBron James to appear on a Vogue US cover), the Bryan brothers and Dwyane Wade in this sports-themed editorial spread shot by Annie Leibovitz.
The almost separate entities of sportsman and high fashion model with Karlie Kloss as a hurdle, on a basketball hoop and on parallel bars does it for me. Check out the rest of the Vogue US June 2012 editorial featuring Karlie Kloss and America’s top male Olympians by Annie Leibovitz as well as a behind-the-scenes video of the shoot below.

Karlie Kloss stars in Fuck Me, the first of a series of fashion films by SHOWstudio. This project, titled Fashion Fetish, will see a film realised every week from 22 March to 1 June, each featuring a different fashion personality. Some names have been dropped and they include Lady Amanda Harlech, Daphne Guinness, Lily Donaldson, Liberty Ross and Dasha Zhukova among others.
Fashion Fetish is launched in conjunction with SHOWstudio’s Selling Sex exhibition, which showcases sex from the point-of-view of a woman, which is… I’ll leave that for you to figure out. But from what I have seen so far, one can only wonder what the other films have installed for us. More sex than fashion perhaps?
New York Fashion Week is in full swing with just over one more day to go but did you notice top American model Karlie Kloss missing from the runways? Apparently if you haven’t heard, Karlie Kloss is giving New York Fashion Week a miss because she is gearing up for a “big opportunity” and mind you this was a last minute decision of hers to skip New York Fashion Week. One can only wonder what this “big opportunity is” so keep you eyes peeled for any news on Karlie Kloss on the interwebs; this could be major.

Karlie Kloss has come of age in the Vogue Italia December 2011 issue. Clad in Valentino, she strikes up a fearsome pose reminiscent of Gisele Bundchen on the cover. The talking point however is the editorial spread inside, aptly titled Body.
Shot by Steven Meisel, Karlie Kloss captivates in the buff in what seems to be her first time intentionally baring her breasts. “Too young” (she’s 19; 15 when she burst on the scene), “she’s anorexic” and “overly photoshopped” were the main arguments. I see her as having a well-toned body, albeit aided by photoshop (which models aren’t) and a versatile model who has finally matured. It must also be noted that she is a Victoria’s Secret model; enough said. So I say enough of the criticism and see what Karlie Kloss has become –a fine model looking to make her mark as one of the elites. I can only imagine what 2012 has installed for her. Check out the 18-page spread of Karlie Kloss by Steven Meisel for Vogue Italia December 2011 below.
