The Valentino Spring/Summer 2012 ad campaign is feminine, romantic, dreamy, ethereal, everything you would expect from a classic Valentino collection. Shot by Deborah Turbeville, Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli’s exquisite and graceful creations came to life in a setting that mirrored the garden of Eden. Models Bette Franke, Fei Fei Sun, Zuzanna Bijoch and Maud Welzen did not disappoint as they played divine beings roaming around in frocks fitting of a royal.

The Proenza Schouler Spring/Summer 2012 ad campaign showcases yet another set of studio images shot by Willy Vanderperre but this time featuring Natasha Poly who replaced Zuzanna Bijoch. In only their fourth ever ad campaign, Lazaro Hernandez and Jack McCollough are proving to the industry that simple and fuss-free ad campaigns without any gimmicks can also be effective.
This season, it was all about colour, prints and texture combining beautifully to form garments that speak of eclecticism at its best. For accessories, their bags continue to delve into new frontiers and I have no doubt that their shoes will be on everyone’s Spring/Summer 2012 must-have list.

Zuzanna Bijoch dazzles for Vogue Paris September 2011. Photographed by Josh Olins and styled by Véronique Didry, up-and-comer Zuzanna Bijoch is immaculately dolled up in expensive jewels from the likes of David Yurman, De Beers, Van Cleef and Arpels, Harry Winston and Boucheron among others with clothes from Gucci, Jil Sander, Oscar de la Renta, Miu Miu and Manish Arora. Precious metals and gems juxtaposed with prints never looked so good plus Zuzanna Bijoch is one of my favourite models at the moment. The Proenza Schouler Fall 2011 ad campaign has just been unveiled and it is Lazaro Hernandez and Jack McCollough’s third ever ad campaign. Shot by Willy Vanderperre at New York’s Milk Studios and styled by Marie Chaix, the Proenza Schouler Fall 2011 ad campaign stars Zuzanna Bijoch.
Strong and graphic colour-blocking is emphasised here mashed with Native American/Southwestern-inspired tribal prints that were the main highlights of the collection. A visual feast and vibrant ad campaign if you ask me.
